Christina has been at Shortridge Academy since 2006, coming to the academy after working 5 years for the Crossroads Program for Struggling Teens in Massachusetts. Christina has a great deal of experience in treatment planning, crisis intervention, authoritative parenting, counseling, and supervising staff. She greatly enjoys helping therapists and residential staff to develop their professional skills and increase their knowledge base. Christina is skilled in use of CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment/Attunement work. She also specializes in physiological psychology, often engaging students in psychoeducation on how their brain and body function best.
Christina has three children of her own and enjoys the challenges of the adolescent population.
