She is currently licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in both Maine and New Hampshire.

Meg has worked as an adolescent and family therapist in a community mental health center and then in private practice. Meg utilizes a variety of methods in her work with a strength-based approach. These methods include but are not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma informed therapy, and structural and family systems therapy. Meg has a passion for helping students and their families integrate the skills and tools they have been working on during their journey in residential care. Developing transferable skills lies at the heart of the work she does with students and their families.
