One of the goals that comprise every Shortridge Academy student’s Positive Development Plan is to embrace and implement healthy lifestyle changes. Five health and fitness sessions per week are built into the academic day, for which students earn credit. Students are also encouraged to be active at many other times, including after lunch, during club meetings and events, in the evening, and on the weekends. Shortridge also offers a nicely appointed on-campus gym available to all students.

The list below shows activities that Shortridge Academy has provided in the past. Students and staff collaborate on adding new activities to this list based on student interests.

Shortridge Nature Trails

The 350-acre Shortridge Academy campus features eight distinct nature trails where students, families, and faculty can enjoy the beautiful New Hampshire outdoors and wildlife while getting in healthy physical activity.
